Looking to rent top-tier camera gear for your next project? Nelson Photo & Video in San Diego has you covered! From mirrorless and DSLR cameras to cinema cameras, lenses, lighting gear, and tripods, we offer equipment from the best brands in the industry.

Here's how it works:

  1. Check Availability: Browse our website to check equipment availability, daily fees, and deposit requirements. We offer special rates for students and military personnel, as well as weekly and monthly rates.
  2. Make Your Reservation: Once you've found what you need, make your reservation online.
  3. Prepare Your Deposit: We can hold the deposit amount on a credit card or in cash while you have our equipment. We recommend avoiding debit cards as banks might delay releasing your funds. For reservations of five days or more, we only accept cash deposits.
  4. Pick Up Your Equipment: On the day of pick-up, bring your government-issued photo ID and your credit card or cash deposit. If using a credit card, ensure it matches the name on your ID.
  5. Sending Someone Else?: If someone else is picking up for you, send them with a completed Credit Card Authorization form and a copy of your photo ID (front and back). If the deposit is on a credit card, the card must be present at our store.
  6. Sign and Pay: The final step is to sign the rental contract in-store and pay the rental fee.
